Can two people hold a Stake in a Domain Name?

Hi everyone!
I am interested to know if more than one person can be listed as the proprietor of a domain name? Legally I’m talking. I know two different people can’t register the same name (obviously) but can two people be in the Whois record (like the deeds to a house for example?)

I bought a domain name mumbaidhamal.com, I have the order id no, how can I transfer it to go daddy?

You see , its not utilized since November last yr, Now i want to tranfer this domain to Go Daddy, all i have is the order Id no which was emailed to me when i bought the domain, Will it be enough to get this domain transferred to Go Daddy, along with transfer fee . Do i need to provide any other Proof of ownership?
