If your web pages are self contained then nothing will change when you change hosts. By self contained I mean that you do not use any extras supplied by the host such as forums, guest books, page generators, etc.

I contend that it isn’t good.
Maybe a long time ago it was good to have different administrative and technical contacts in your WHOIS entry, but not anymore.
Today, WHOIS records are used to harvest spam list and have been used in domain takeover scams such that now most registrars offer the ability to put NO contact listings on a WHOIS entry. (Technically, they put themselves as the contact and act as an intermediary to filter out spam and scam for you.)
