how to make my whois records private for a .it domain?

I have a domain registered as .it
In other words, its something like www.domain_name.it

I want to make the whois records private… the company that I used to do the registration does not offer this service… who do I go to?
can anyone also point me to some place that will do this for me… I’m willing to pay… I just don’t know where to look…
