Is OpenSSL a free alternative to buying an SSL certificate?

I heard about this thing called OpenSSL and I’m wondering is it possible to get that rather than buy an SSL certificate?

Also if that’s the case can I get it for my Network Solutions hosting account?

You can create a certificate with OpenSSL but it will not be issued by a trusted authority. Therefore, when users browse your website they will get a security warning/error. You can get a free SSL certificate at http://cert.startcom.org/

Can you help us come up with a business name?

We’re starting an e-commerce company and need a business name that fits the following criteria:

1. The name will match the two key themes (rustic and imports)
2. The name will be available for domain name registration with a .com extension through ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers)
3. The name will be available for registration as a trademark with The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)

Beyond these requirements, the name must look good in print and sound good / familiar to the ear.

There might be a small reward ($250 or less) for the person who comes up with the best name.
